Ummm...I'm not obsessed. I swear. I love Rent- it's my source of therapy. Don't understand why? I don't care. I'm counting the days until I turn 18 and can get out of the hellhole commonly called Yonkers and pursue my career in the fashion industry. Until then, I'm here being pessimistic and making sarcastic comments with my friends. (That is when Tiffy and I aren't discussing QAF) But now some quotes that make me happy:
I take a voice a voice I hear not listen the choice it glistens like the glimmer in the gay man's eye ~"Subway Train", Subway Train
The strobe of the lights and the dancing on the stage with the roses & the sage in my Grandma's garden INTENSITY it hardens, & freezes & bargains & trades with the snake on the vine ~"Danger Train", Subway Train
For so long I’ve been broken By the thoughts in my head. Loaded words that were spoken But should’ve never been said.
And now the wheels keep on turning Sealing and burning like a drought And soon my days turn to night As I lose my sight And can’t get out.
But I just wanna live Like a river that can’t run dry I just wanna live Like an eagle that breathes the sky I just wanna live Like there’s nothing left to hide I just wanna live So that I can get off this ride. ~"This Ride", Subway Train
"Today I see beauty everywhere I go, in every face I see, in every single soul, and sometimes even in myself." - Kevyn Aucoin
Try to see it my way, Do I have to keep on talking till I can’t go on? While you see it your way, Run the risk of knowing that our love may soon be gone. We can work it out, We can work it out.
Think of what you’re saying. You can get it wrong and still you think that it’s alright. Think of what I’m saying, We can work it out and get it straight, or say good night. We can work it out, We can work it out.
Life is very short, and there’s no time For fussing and fighting, my friend. I have always thought that it’s a crime, So I will ask you once again.
Try to see it my way, Only time will tell if I am right or I am wrong. While you see it your way There’s a chance that we may fall apart before too long. We can work it out, We can work it out. ~We Can Work It Out, The Beatles
I look at you all see the love there that's sleeping While my guitar gently weeps I look at the floor and I see it needs sweeping Still my guitar gently weeps I don't know why nobody told you how to unfold your love I don't know how someone controlled you They bought and sold you.
I look at the world and I notice it's turning While my guitar gently weeps With every mistake we must surely be learning Still my guitar gently weeps I don't know how you were diverted You were perverted too I don't know how you were inverted No one alerted you.
I look at you all see the love there that's sleeping While my guitar gently weeps Look at you all . . . Still my guitar gently weeps. ~While My Guitar Gently Weeps, George Harrison
